Senior Certification Engineer (ODA)

We're supporting a leading aerospace organisation and are looking for a Certification Engineer (ODA) to join on a contract or full time basis, supporting ongoing product development and certification activities.This role will focus on regulatory compliance, certification oversight, and engineering support across new and existing aerospace products.Key responsibilitiesSupport certification activities across new product development and in-service programmesReview technical documentation for regulatory compliance and engineering adequacyProvide guidance on ODA / FAA certification processes and requirementsCollaborate with engineering and quality teams on certification strategy and executionSupport product investigations and engineering analysis where requiredContribute to certification documentation, approvals, and technical reportingKey requirements (MUST HAVES)Strong experience in aerospace certification / regulatory complianceWorking knowledge of ODA and/or FAA certification frameworksBackground in mechanical or aerospace engineeringExperience reviewing technical documentation and substantiation dataAbility to work cross-functionally with engineering and quality teamsNice to haveExperience with PMA, airworthiness approvals, or design changesExposure to continued operational safety (COS) activitiesExperience supporting investigations or failure analysisbasis.
