You will be responsible for driving occupancy, NOI performance, operational consistency, and team development across your portfolio.Key ResponsibilitiesPortfolio Leadership & OperationsLead day-to-day operations across multiple properties within the DC portfolioEnsure consistent execution of company standards, policies, and service expectationsConduct regular site visits to assess performance, property condition, and team effectivenessPartner with on-site teams to drive leasing performance, resident satisfaction, and operational efficiencyFinancial PerformanceOversee budgets, forecasts, and financial performance across the portfolioAnalyze variances and implement strategies to improve revenue and control expensesDrive NOI growth through leasing strategy, pricing alignment, and cost managementTeam Leadership & DevelopmentDirectly manage and develop Property Managers and Senior Property ManagersRecruit, train, and mentor high-performing teamsStep into properties during transitions, vacancies, or critical operational needsFoster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvementTurn & Operational ExecutionProvide leadership and oversight for annual turn and peak operational periodsEnsure properties are prepared, staffed, and executed on time and within budgetTroubleshoot operational challenges in real-time and implement solutions quicklyCompliance & Risk ManagementEnsure full compliance with DC and federal housing regulations, including Fair HousingPartner with internal teams to manage risk, audits, and escalated resident issuesCross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with asset management, marketing, accounting, and HR teamsProvide regular updates and strategic recommendations to senior leadershipWhat You Bring7+ years of experience in residential or multifamily property management3+ years in a multi-site or regional leadership roleStrong financial acumen (budgeting, forecasting, NOI performance)Proven ability to lead teams and drive operational results across multiple assetsExperience navigating fast-paced environments and property transitionsStrong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skillsAbility to travel regularly throughout the DC portfolioWhy This Role Stands OutHigh-impact role with visibility across leadership and ownershipOpportunity to shape and scale a growing DC portfolioHands-on leadership with real influence on performance and strategyFast-moving, entrepreneurial environment with strong growth potentialWork EnvironmentThis is a field-based role requiring regular presence at properties throughout Washington, DC and surrounding areas.
