Truss Builder/Sawyer/Assembler

We are looking for responsible, hardworking, and experienced Sawyers and Carpenter Laborers to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Morrisville, PA. Starting pay is $18.00/hour (Day Shift) with the opportunity to negotiate based on skills and experience. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position. Responsibilities:Operate and maintain industrial saws and cutting equipment safely and accurately Insert, position, and clamp materials; fit parts by hand and with power tools Measure, mark, and cut lumber to specification following cut sheets and blueprints Use a hammer to place metal reinforcement plates over connecting joints Follow prioritized production lists assigned by the lead and use assigned press stations to place and press plates on appropriate lumber Verify dimensions of cut materials per supervisor instructions and blueprint specifications Perform quality control checks on assembled items and propose process improvements when applicable Fulfill daily machine and area cleanup procedures Qualifications:Prior experience with saws, carpentry, or lumber assembly preferred Ability to read and understand simple diagrams, blueprints, and a tape measure Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, memos, and effectively communicate one-on-one Ability to work 10-12-hour shifts and lift up to 80 pounds High school diploma or GED preferred Reliable transportation to Morrisville, PA Must be authorized to work in the United States Equal Opportunity Employer
