This role involves hands-on work with backend applications, databases, and CI/CD tools while maintaining system stability and security. The consultant will assist with patching, troubleshooting, and ongoing platform support.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain applications using Java / Spring Boot, Python, or GroovyWork on Unix / Linux systems including shell scripting and troubleshootingPerform system upgrades, patching, and CVE/vulnerability remediationSupport and maintain relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, DB2)Use Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines for build and deployment processesTroubleshoot technical issues and support production environmentsQualifications3–5 years of software development experienceHands-on experience with Java / Python / GroovyExperience working in Unix / Linux environmentsExperience with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or DB2Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, or CI/CD toolsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fieldCompensation (MA Pay Transparency):Estimated hourly range: $60–$65/hr (W-2).Final rate within this range will be based on skills, experience, and interview results.
