Outside Sales- Central & Northern California
Amos And Associates, Inc. provides exclusive local representation and distribution of coating and lining products manufactured by Tnemec Company, Inc. We focus on a technically specification driven, consultative sales approach working directly with Architects, Engineers, and Owners to help write quality specifications with Tnemec products as the basis of design. We support our purchasers (applicators, installers, utility contractors, general contractors, steel fabricators, facilities, etc.) with technical advice, help prepare submittals, and assist as necessary onsite.
Job Description
Amos And Associates, Inc. is looking for outside sales representatives to help maintain and grow our Architectural and Industrial markets. Outside Sales Representatives will be directly responsible and compensated for maintaining sales and relationships of existing purchasers, and rewarded for growing sales volume and profits of our existing and potential purchasers within in our Architectural and Industrial markets. The current open territory is primarily located within the SF Bay Area, with total coverage from mid-Central Valley California, north to the Oregon border, and the northwestern quadrant of Nevada.
Duties + Responsibilities
Regular in-person sales calls with current customers
In-person and virtual pre-bid, pre-start, and job-site meetings
In-person product presentations to existing and potential purchasers
Host virtual meetings and webinars to purchasers and project teams
Coordinate development and revisions of digital product and system recommendations
E-mail communications, System Guides, Guide Specifications
Coordinate assembly and delivery of project submittals and price quotes
Obtain follow up photographs and project details to submit as case histories and success stories
Use of a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) program to record and report sales activity, job
tracking, project delivery, orders, etc.
Participate in industry and market activities (i.e. AMPP (NACE/SSPC), AWWA, CRWA, trade shows, etc.
Attend company-paid national meetings out of state and possibly overseas
Take part in company-paid training as needed, possibly out of state
Become an industry expert and technical coatings resource for customers
Qualifications
