Accounting Associate

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Associate to support our accounting team. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial processing, including 3-way matching, vendor payments, and general accounting support. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM; Friday, 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM Location: In-office – Matthews, NC Why Work Here? Key Responsibilities Perform 3-way matching of purchase orders, bills of lading (BOLs), and invoices to ensure accuracy and completeness Research discrepancies and collaborate with the purchasing department to resolve issues and ensure timely invoice processing Prepare and process vendor credit applications and payments (checks and credit card) in a timely manner Post trip reports and anchor bolt data into the Visual ERP system Assis with general accounting functions and provide support to the accounting team as needed Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with company policies Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or coursework in accounting preferred Previous experience in accounts payable or general accounting required Manufacturing industry experience is a plus Experience with ERP systems required; familiarity with Visual or AccountMate preferred (or willingness to learn) Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills High level of integrity and commitment to accuracy Self-motivated, team-oriented, and willing to collaborate across departments Demonstrates and upholds company core values in daily work If you are a detail-oriented professional looking to grow your career in accounting, we encourage you to apply today.
