Experienced Preschool and Childcare Teacher Assistant

Position: Experienced Childcare Teacher Assistant (32 - 40 hours per week depending on needs of program) Location: 20687 Hwy 99 E in Aurora, Oregon (right off 99 E) About Us: We are a vibrant, family-oriented childcare center committed to delivering exceptional early childhood education and care. Job Description: As a member of our childcare team, you will play a vital role in shaping the early learning experiences of children aged 2 years - 5 yeas old. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting teachers with implementation of developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities. Cultivating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where children feel safe, valued, and respected. Maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting classroom conducive to learning and exploration. Assisting with breaks and afternoon care Assist with lunch and afternoon snack prep as needed for up to 20 children (meals are very simple and planned in advance) Must-Have Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year or 750 hours of previous experience working with young children in a certified childcare center or preschool. (We unfortunately can not count babysitting, nanny or other youth work towards these hours) or early childhood education setting. Current ORO Background Check. Genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth and development. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Certification in early childhood education or relevant field preferred but not required. Schedule: Must be available for any shift between 7:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
