The teaching load is eight classes per year (either 5-3 or 4-4) and the faculty member will be expected to teach the world history survey and general education courses, as well as contribute to our upper-division undergraduate course offerings. Applicants should emphasize their teaching experience, in addition to evidence of successful "teaching" beyond the classroom (mentorship, advising, co-curricular work, etc.). Excellent benefits are included in the compensation package.Minimum QualificationsABD in History with a focus in Medieval European History. Successful performance in an online interview, including teaching demonstration. Demonstrated commitment to the education of diverse populations.Preferred QualificationsPhD in History, with focus in Medieval European history.
