Software Developer

Role Summary A manufacturing organization is seeking a Software Developer to support and enhance its enterprise ERP environment. This position is based onsite in Florence, MA. The client is open to candidates who do not have prior ERP experience but are willing to learn JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. This is a full-time role with a fixed base salary of $90,000 plus a $10,000 annual bonus paid in two installments. The role also offers exposure to modern initiatives, including AI-related enhancements. Education & ExperienceBachelor's degree in a technical discipline preferred5+ years of experience in software development supporting large-scale ERP systemsExperience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is preferred but not required Key SkillsStrong adaptability, positive mindset, and willingness to learn new systems and technologiesExperience working with internal business stakeholders and IT teamsAbility to translate functional specifications into technical solutionsExperience using programming languages and development toolsets in an ERP environmentAbility to support Business Analysts with solution design and feedbackExperience troubleshooting ERP system issues and providing resolution guidanceProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)Working knowledge of IBM DB2 and SQL Job ResponsibilitiesReport to the Technical Manager - Software DevelopmentProvide day-to-day support for a large-scale ERP systemParticipate in meetings with internal business users, IT teams, and external partnersManage and support large-scale projects, including coordination with external consultantsDevelop software solutions based on business requirements and functional specificationsCollaborate with software development teams to deliver business-aligned solutionsPlan, prioritize, and execute assigned development tasksBuild reports using enterprise reporting toolsRecommend system enhancements and improvements to maintain ERP effectivenessEnsure ERP alignment with evolving business needsCreate documentation and deliver training to end usersProvide timely and professional support to internal stakeholdersWork collaboratively in a team environment and with external partners Work EnvironmentOnsite role based in Florence, MAStandard hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with occasional additional hours as neededFull-time positionFixed salary: $90,000 with a $10,000 annual bonus (paid in two installments)
