Java Kafka Developer Role and Responsibilities:Strong hands-on 8+ years of experience as Java Developer with strong Kafka expertise to design, develop, and support high-performance, event driven applicationsDesign, develop, and maintain Java based enterprise applications using Spring Boot and microservices architecture.Build and manage event driven systems using Apache Kafka, including producers, consumers, topics, partitions, and schemasCollaborate with architects, business analysts, and DevOps teams to deliver scalable and resilient solutions.Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with downstream and upstream systems.Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and performance tuning of Kafka and Java applications.Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).Ability to build abstract, modularized reusable code components.Hands-on experience in generating/parsing XML, JSON documentsParticipate in code reviews, sprint planning, and production support activities.Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with a focus on root cause analysis.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Maven/GradleExperience working in Agile/Scrum environments.Excellent problem solving and communication skills
