Environmental, Health, Safety & Security (EHSS) ManagerLocation: Verona, PA (Pittsburgh Area) Contract: 6-Month Renewable Contract Industry: Industrial / Construction / Advanced ManufacturingPosition OverviewA leading industrial organization is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health, Safety & Security (EHSS) Manager to support major construction and special project activities at its Verona, PA site.This role will provide leadership, oversight, and execution support for EHSS initiatives across active construction and capital project environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong field execution experience within industrial construction projects and demonstrate the ability to build and implement site-specific safety programs in dynamic, high-risk environments.This is an urgent requirement supporting innovative industrial technology deployment projects with significant construction activity.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide EHSS leadership and guidance to project site teams, contractors, engineering partners, and stakeholdersDevelop, implement, and maintain site-specific environmental, health, safety, and security programsConduct workplace hazard analyses and risk assessments to identify and mitigate project risksEnsure compliance with all applicable OSHA, EPA, environmental, and company safety standardsLead contractor engagement initiatives to reinforce a proactive safety cultureSupport incident investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and trend reportingCoordinate with regulatory agencies and emergency response organizations as requiredDeliver EHSS training, monitoring, audits, and continuous improvement initiativesAssist project teams with integrating EHSS requirements into construction execution plans and work processesRequired Experience & QualificationsExtensive EHSS experience within industrial construction or large-scale capital projectsStrong field execution background supporting active construction environmentsExperience managing contractor safety programs and high-risk construction activitiesWorking knowledge of OSHA regulations, environmental compliance, and industrial safety standardsDemonstrated experience conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategiesStrong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to operate effectively in fast-paced and evolving project environmentsPreferred BackgroundExperience supporting EPC/EPCM or owner-side industrial projectsBackground in manufacturing, metals, heavy industrial, energy, or chemical environmentsExperience with complex construction activities involving multiple contractors and tradesSafety certifications or professional credentials are highly desirableAdditional InformationSite-based role located in Verona, PA (Greater Pittsburgh area)Immediate project requirement6-month renewable contract opportunityPotential for extension based on project needs and performance
