Job OverviewDIVISION / DEPARTMENT Production REPORTS TO Manger(s)POSITION DETAILSDuties And ResponsibilitiesWork on the production line with consistent speed and accuracyEnsure that production requirements and standards are met consistentlyMake every effort to increase productivity and efficiency without compromising qualityComplete packaging tasks such as box assembly, packing, and tapingOperate machinery correctly and maintain it with care and report any issues to managementWork cooperatively with the production team to meet quotas and goalsMaintain a clean and safe work areaObserve all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to managementFollow all written and verbal instructionsAttend all safety and production trainingsPerform other job-related duties as assignedMeet yearly personal/department S.M.A.R.T. objectivesDIRECT REPORTSIf this position has any direct reports (example: Production Line)QualificationsMINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS2+ years' experience working in industrial production is strongly preferredPreferred Education RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredRequired SkillsMust be available for nights and weekends/occasional overtimeCapable of reading and understanding production documents and safety manualsBasic math, reading, and writing skillsBasic computer skillsWillingness to comply with all safety guidelines alwaysAble to operate large industrial machineryReliable and punctualPositive attitude and willingness to work as part of a teamPhysical RequirementsWorks in production environmentsFrequently standing, walking, lifting, stooping, or bending Able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basisAble to work 8-12 hour shifts standing
