BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for a "dynamic, results driven" individual to join as a Human Resources Intern for the summer. The HR Intern will be primarily responsible for supporting the administration and coordination of HR projects and activities, including but not limited to filing, onboarding, data analysis, interview/recruitment scheduling, wellness initiatives, and training, as directed by HR Team. Key Responsibilities Provide administrative and HR support duties to HR department Assist on HR special projects Supports the recruitment process through posting of jobs, scheduling interviews, greeting candidates, candidate interview expense reports, etc. Supports the new hire orientation/onboarding processes Creates new employee personnel files and files current employee documents Assist employees with questions or refers to appropriate resource in timely manner Supports company programs, committees, and planning of company sponsored events Generate reports and statistics Supports wellness committee and wellness initiatives, advocate for wellness programs Participates and supports cross functional HR activities Complete data entry into HR Systems such as Workday and SharePoint Support the University Relations HR Lead in the coordination and execution of the intern and co-op program What We Are Looking For Currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, or be a graduate from an accredited college GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or B average, upon initial hire date Ability to work onsite at the Indiana Technical Center in Kokomo, Indiana Experience in human resources activities, organizations, internships preferred Leadership in extracurricular activities preferred Detailed-oriented Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills Highly collaborative and team oriented Skilled in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint What We Believe Inclusion - We value diversity in people, ideas, and experiences Integrity - We believe in transparency, authenticity, and depend on each other to deliver what we promise Excellence - We contribute to our developments by seeking knowledge and sharing information Responsibility - We care about our local communities and the global environment Collaboration - We are one BorgWarner Salary Range: $17.00 - $20.00
