Kid One is committed to improving health equity by ensuring that families can access the care they need.Role DescriptionThe Bilingual Coordinator will play a key role in supporting operations and ensuring effective communication with both English and Spanish-speaking clients. The coordinator is a primary point of contact for clients, managing everything from initial applications and scheduling to Medicaid voucher reconciliation. The ideal candidate is an organized, multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to providing exceptional service to our community. This is a part-time, on-site position located in Birmingham, AL, but serving the entire state.Core ResponsibilitiesDaily Intake: Monitor and process all incoming voice and email requests for assistance daily.Direct Assistance: Receive incoming calls to help clients with transportation needs, application queries, and general questions.Information Provider: Educate clients on internal policies, procedures, and the specific Medicaid process for requesting transportation vouchers.Outreach: Contact clients as needed to confirm appointment details and provide pickup information for the upcoming transport schedule.Record Maintenance: Enter, confirm, and update client information in the database to ensure 100% accuracy.Provider Management: Add and update provider information in the system; confirm details regularly.Scheduling Oversight: Coordinate client appointments and process scheduling changes with both clients and providers using Trapeze or similar scheduling software.Reporting: Document all denial information in the database and process "Request-a-Ride" entries daily according to established protocols.Medicaid Processing: Reconcile Medicaid transportation vouchers by verifying services within the Trapeze system.Application Lifecycle: Review new client applications, notify clients of missing data, and complete master files.Operations Support: Relieve the dispatch and transport teams as needed to ensure continuous service.Leadership: Assist the staff in developing communication plans for Spanish-speaking clients to ensure continuation of service when you are unavailable.Executive Assistance: Provide administrative support to Deputy Director as requestedQualificationsFluency in Spanish and English, with strong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in customer service and maintaining positive client relationshipsAbility to coordinate logistics, manage schedules, and handle administrative tasks efficientlyStrong data management proficiency (Experience with Trapeze is a plus)Strong organizational skills and attention to detailProblem-solving abilities and capacity to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlinesProficiency in office software, including MS Office Suite and database managementFamiliarity with the healthcare or transportation industry is a plusHigh degree required, bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience preferredSubmit Resume to mspringer@kidone.org
