This role will focus on platform reliability, performance, modernization, automation, security, and cloud transformation initiatives. You will work extensively with Oracle technologies including Exadata, RAC, Data Guard, ASM, RMAN, OEM, OCI, and Autonomous Database, while also supporting enterprise environments leveraging Snowflake, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.RESPONSIBILITIESLead database upgrades, migrations, cloud transformations, and platform modernization efforts.Design and support highly available database architectures.Optimize performance through tuning, indexing, partitioning, and capacity planning.Implement automation using Python, Shell Scripting, PowerShell, Terraform, and Ansible.Support mission-critical 24x7 production environments.Partner with application, cloud, analytics, infrastructure, and security teams.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS10+ years of experience supporting enterprise database platforms.Oracle Exadata expertise (5+ years preferred).Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMAN, OEM.Snowflake, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.AWS, Azure, and/or OCI experience.Performance tuning, troubleshooting, HA/DR, and database engineering best practices.NICE TO HAVEMongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB, Redis, Couchbase.Vector databases, graph databases.AI/ML, RAG, semantic search, embeddings.DevOps, SRE, DataOps.
