As an MRI Technologist, you will perform a versatile range of routine and specialized magnetic resonance imaging procedures, ensuring every scan is of the highest diagnostic quality. From patient preparation and equipment stewardship to assisting Radiologists, you will be the primary driver of excellence in your assigned area, contributing to the success of an award-winning diagnostic department.Key Responsibilities:Diagnostic Imaging: Perform high-quality routine and special MRI procedures with technical accuracy and professional judgment.Patient Care: Prepare patients for procedures, explain scanning protocols, and ensure comfort and safety throughout the examination.Equipment Stewardship: Prepare, operate, and maintain specialized MRI equipment; perform quality assurance checks to ensure optimal performance.Safety Protocols: Maintain strict adherence to MRI safety standards, including Level 2 safety certification, to protect patients and staff.Interdisciplinary Support: Assist Radiologists during procedures and collaborate with the team to meet established standards of care.Service Excellence: Actively participate in facility-wide customer service programs and professional development initiatives.Other duties as assigned.Required QualificationsEducation: Graduate of an accredited radiography school or hospital-based program.Licensure: CurrentNew York State (N.Y.S.)
