Together, let's help to advance the world of minimally invasive care.Primary function of positionWe are looking for an experienced Analytics Engineer to join our growing global Enterprise Analytics team.Job Description:• Build well tested, up to date and documented datasets• Write production-quality ELT/ELT code with an eye towards performance and maintainability• Maintaining documentation related to datasets and analysis and ensuring that everyone on the team uses the same language and definitions• Build and maintain Analytics on Tableau, Business Objects and other tools as needed• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams• Evangelize best practices for data model usage and visualization design• Work with business and Enterprise Analytics teams to define back-end requirements for data products (aggregations, materialized views, tables - visualization)• Identify data gaps from downstream and upstream source systems and work with IT partners to improve data quality and governance• Actively participate in our GxP processes to keep data compliant per regulatory guidelines• Participate, contribute and build effective Data and Analytics governance practices• Understand the decision-making process, workflows, and business and information needs of our analytic teams• Data investigation to discover correlations / trends and the ability to explain them• Collaborate with internal and external customers to develop an analytics portfolio consistent with the vision and goals of our stakeholders• Work closely with business units for knowledge sharing, mentoring, and training• Drive standardization of key metrics across various business stakeholders to improve data governance• Optimizing the data warehouse as necessarySkill/Job Requirements:• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management or specialized training/certification.• Experience with full-stack data analysis, insight synthesis and presentation.• Proficient SQL programming skills with an understanding of database capabilities and experience integrating, structuring, and analyzing data from diverse sources• 5+ years of analysis of manufacturing data to solve complex optimization problems• Experience working with ERP data (preferably SAP)• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Ability to investigate issues to root cause, understand and explain trends/shifts in data• Curious business mindset with an ability to condense complex concepts and analysis into clear and concise takeaways that drive action• A sense of pride and personal accountability for resulting customer experience is a must• Passion for deriving meaning from data and optimizing visual display of information (design perspective)• 2+ years of programming experience a plus (e.g., Python or C++)• Strong experience in data modeling, data analysis, or analytics workAdditional Qualifications• Advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or other quantitative discipline• Experience in Medical Devices• Experience with Cloud Analytics Platforms (MS Azure, AWS, Snowflake or GCP)• Experience with ASTM standards and FDA regulations applied to medical devices manufacturing including 21 CFR part 11
