Cath Lab Tech Location: Rochester, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,194 per week Shift Information: 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/8/2026 About the Position Job Title: Cath Lab Technician Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 1 year License: NY license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT R, CCI RCIS (preferred but not required) Must-Have: - Experience in Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath lab - Proficiency in Cardiac Stent Placement and Catheterizations - Skills in IABP Placement/Removal and interpretation of dysrhythmias - Ability to perform various procedures including Left and Right Heart Catheterization - Experience with Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI) - Knowledge of Scrub Procedures and Equipment Setup - Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias - Capacity to maintain sterile field in the lab Description: This position requires working four 10-hour shifts from Monday to Friday. On-call requirements will be part of the job expectations. The ideal candidate will have experience working in both Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath labs. Key responsibilities include the placement of cardiac stents and performing diagnostic catheterizations. Candidates should be familiar with common procedures in the cath lab, including various catheterization techniques. In addition, the role involves maintaining compliance with sterile techniques and safety protocols. A strong foundation in recognizing dysrhythmias is essential. The ability to work effectively as part of a team is critical for success in this role. Candidates must have the ability to float within the unit as required.
