Strong SQL and experience with relational databases is a must.Follow software development best practices, including writing clean, maintainable code, performing code reviews, and adhering to coding standards.Troubleshoot and optimize performance at both the database and application levels to ensure high efficiency and reliability.TestingTesting mindset to focus on bug prevention than fixCover edge cases and failure scenariosKEY QUALIFICATIONS8+ years of experience in Java.Strong experience with Java (Spring, Hibernate, etc.) in building scalable backend services, APIs, and microservices.Extensive experience with SQL, including query optimization, database design, and management of relational databases.Proficiency in Test-Driven DevelopmentExperience working in Agile development environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.A fast learner of new technologies.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.Familiarity with other big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) is a plus.Highly beneficial:Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization tools such as Docker.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and DevOps practices.Proficiency in Test-Driven Development (TDD)
