Operations Intern
**PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO HOUSING SITUATION WE ARE LOOKING FOR A FEMALE INTERN TO FULFILL THIS ROLE**The Operations Interns are responsible for making sure the daily tasks of the SwampBats organization are done properly and efficiently. These tasks include:Working one-on-one with major sponsors to ensure their night at the field goes as foreseenSet up, execution, and break down of all 22 home games (running all game day operations)Field preparation and organization before and after seasonContinuous community outreach and networking within the greater Monadnock regionPreparing and helping to execute mascot and player appearancesSoliciting Lucky Ticket donations from local businessesOverseeing game day speciality programs (Baseball Buddies, Bat Kids, Lucky Tickets, etc)Picking up and dropping misc. products (food, drinks, decorations)Airport pickups for playersCoordinating and working various events and fundraisersCommunicating with SwampBat fans, volunteers, and Board of DirectorsWorking two full weeks of SwampBats baseball camp, including registration, communicating with parents, and working with coachesHelping to execute a successful one-day Red Sox Foundation campOther duties as assignedSkills:Strong communication skills (in person, phone, e-mail)Ability work in a high stress environmentCommitment to a professional career pathFlexible in all situationsWilling to work early mornings, days, nights, and weekendsAdditional Info: This is a full time job and runs from late May - mid August. This is an unpaid internship, but we provide housing, a game-night meal, full access to a 24/7 gym, and a $400 stipend.
