Employing state-of-the-art robotics, precision welding equipment, and automated machining processes, Dexter has achieved many years of success through a commitment to the principles of superior quality, continuous improvement, and unparalleled customer service.For more information about our company, access Dexter's web site at www.dextergroup.com.JOB DESCRIPTIONFlatbed experience preferred.Deliver trailer and trailer products while operating a tractor-trailer truck, sometimes over intercity routes or spanning several states to customers timely.Must be willing and able to tarp loads as needed.Record amount and type of cargo being delivered.Drive flatbed truck long distances.Report to a dispatcher any incidents encountered on the road.Monitor road conditions and watch for traffic congestion.Follow all applicable traffic laws.Inspect their trailer before and after the trip and record any defects they find.Follow accident procedures if an accident occurs.Keep a log of activities.Report serious mechanical problems to the appropriate personnel.Take rest periods during trip, take special precautions while driving.Minimum QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:Must be 21+ years of age.Valid Class A CDL Required.1 year experience, including manual.Proven working experience as a commercial truck driver.Clean driving record - No DWI/DUI in the last 10 years.Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly.Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.Dexter is driven by our core values committed to Safety, Quality and Integrity:Execute with Determination - Be curious, work together, break new ground, find solutions, fulfill our commitments, surpass expectations!Connect with People - Empower employees to grow, engage and collaborate; build lasting customer partnerships; care for our communities.Do the Right Thing - For our people, for our customers, and for the business.We care for our people.
