Location: NewcastleClosing date: 31 August 2026Salary: Reasonable out of pocket travel expensesRainbow TrustWe're looking for enthusiastic and energetic volunteers to join our lively cheer point at the Great North Run on Sunday 13 September 2026 and for the Junior Great North Run on Saturday 12 September 2026.We will have our brave runners taking part in this iconic event for us and our sports team are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our cheer squad to help our runners get to the finish line!You will be part of a lively team and will experience the atmosphere that this event brings, decked out in our eye-catching Rainbow Trust t-shirts and rainbow hair, all while making lots of noise!You Could BeSupporting with setting up or packing down our cheer pointMeeting and greeting sportspeople and their families after the eventBeing an ambassador for Rainbow TrustEngaging with members of the public confidentlyAll volunteers will be provided with cheer materials.
