OverviewJoin to apply for the AI Engineer role at EnDyna Inc. At Endyna, Inc., we serve the public interest by providing technical, scientific, and management services to federal agencies. For our EPA contract, we are seeking an AI Engineer to join our team. You will design, develop, and deploy intelligent systems to assist in workflow automation, fraud detection, and resource optimization. ResponsibilitiesArchitect, develop, and maintain AI agents and applications using modern LLMs, reinforcement learning, or hybrid reasoning systemsIngest, preprocess, and fuse multimodal data sources (e.g., text, tabular, image, sensor)Develop supervised, unsupervised, and semi-supervised machine learning models tailored to domain tasksBuild and maintain APIs, microservices, and integration layers to support deployment of agent capabilitiesDesign reasoning and decision-making pipelines within agents (e.g., planning, constraint solving, sequential decision-making)Generate multimodal outputs (e.g., reports, visualizations, alerts, summaries)Develop and monitor metrics for agent performance, drift detection, and model validationCollaborate with grants / compliance / audit teams to understand domain needs (waste, fraud, abuse)Conduct code reviews, write documentation, and apply best practices in software engineering and ML operationsStay current with advances in AI/ML, and recommend new tools and architectures for incorporationQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required; Master’s degree preferredFormal training in machine learning, artificial intelligence, or related fieldProven experience developing AI/ML systems, ideally in productionHands-on experience with modern LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, GPT, LLaMA, etc.) or similar large-scale language modelsStrong proficiency in Python, and familiarity with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, etc.)Experience developing APIs, microservices, and deployment toolingExpertise in data ingestion, feature engineering, and multimodal fusionExperience with both supervised and unsupervised learning methodsFamiliarity with reasoning, planning, or hybrid AI systemsExperience in workflow optimization, anomaly detection, fraud/waste/abuse detection (especially in a government or financial domain) is a plusStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environmentSecurity, Clearances & Additional RequirementsMust be a U.S. citizen or meet required eligibility for government contractsAbility to obtain and maintain any required security clearance or background checkWillingness to adhere to contract-specific security, compliance, and auditing protocolsAbility and willingness to travel occasionally, if required by contract (e.g., EPA site visits)Benefits & PerksCompetitive salary based on experience and qualificationsMedical, dental, and vision insurance for employees and dependents401(k) with employer matchPaid time off (PTO) and holidaysShort-term and long-term disability coverage and life insurancePaid parking and access to public transitHow to ApplyPlease submit your application through the Endyna Careers portal, including:A cover letter summarizing your relevant experience with AI/ML, agent development, and domain relevanceUpdated resume / CVOptional: links to GitHub, published papers or demos of AI/ML systems you’ve builtIt is EnDyna’s policy to promote equal employment opportunities.
