Purchasing Manager

Paris Gourmet of NY, Inc. is seeking a dynamic and strategic Purchasing Manager to lead our procurement operations and optimize supply chain efficiency in our Rutherford, NJ location. In this pivotal role, you will oversee sourcing activities, manage supplier relationships, and ensure the timely acquisition of quality materials and services. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence our procurement strategies and contribute to the overall success of our organization.DutiesDevelop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with company goals, focusing on sourcing, supplier management, and cost optimizationManage end-to-end purchasing processes using our ERP system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in procurement activitiesOversee International import container management , duties and costing elements to proper landed cost.Manage purchasing team and Product Coordinator to ensure department effectiveness.Negotiate pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure favorable agreements while maintaining strong vendor relationshipsOversee inventory control and supply chain management to guarantee the availability of materials for manufacturing and operational needsCollaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, manufacturing, logistics, and finance to streamline procurement workflows and improve overall supply chain performanceMonitor supplier performance through regular evaluations, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and quality standardsLead sourcing initiatives to identify new suppliers, evaluate proposals, and implement cost-saving opportunities within procurement managementRequirementsProven experience in procurement management within manufacturing or supply chain environmentsStrong knowledge of ERP systems for procurement and inventory managementExpertise vendor management, and supply chain optimizationKnowledge of Google Drive functions.Experience in Acumatica ERP is not required, but is a plus.Familiarity with Power BI to forecast demand and manage inventory levels effectivelyExcellent negotiation skills coupled with the ability to build lasting supplier relationshipsAbility to analyze pricing strategies, manage logistics operations, and oversee inventory control processesBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field; professional certifications in procurement or supply chain (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) are a plusBackground check and drug test required.Travel domestically and internationally to food shows is a must. 4-6 times per year on average.This is an on site position, not hybrid.Join us as a Purchasing Manager to lead innovative sourcing strategies that propel our organization forward!
