Project Administrative AssistantThe Project Administrative Assistant supports daily operations by providing administrative, coordination, and document control support within a structural steel fabrication environment. Working closely with the Project Management team, this role assists with communication, documentation, and project-related processes to help ensure timely and organized project execution. The Administrative Assistant serves as a key support function between project management, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams. Key ResponsibilitiesProvide general administrative support including managing correspondence, scheduling, and document preparation Assist with document control processes including RFIs, logs, and transmittals Support coordination between Project Management, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams Maintain and update project-related data in systems such as Tekla PowerFab Prepare, organize, and distribute reports, work packages, and project documentation Track and report on project and production status, identifying gaps as needed Participate in coordination meetings and follow up on action items Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems Support vendor coordination and assist with issue tracking and resolution Generate routine and ad hoc reports for project stakeholders Cross-train with Document Control to support document management processes Perform other administrative duties as assigned QualificationsExperience in administrative support, office coordination, or similar role, preferably within a construction, fabrication, or manufacturing environment Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate across teams and external partners Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn systems such as Tekla PowerFab High attention to detail with strong follow-up and problem-solving abilities Preferred SkillsExperience working in a structural steel fabrication or construction-related environment Familiarity with document control processes and project coordination workflows Understanding of project schedules, milestones, and deliverable tracking Experience supporting project teams or operations groups Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
