Golf Course Cart Attendant - Part Time

Job DutiesGets carts for players in advance of play.Meets, greets, and assists all players with bags at the parking lot.Ensure that all carts and the cart area are clean before staging and before parking at the end of day.Check all cart fluids, batteries, batter connections, tire pressure and related equipment daily.Fills sand bottles on carts.Performs minor cart maintenance (Air pressure, changing tires, and tightening loose connections).Operated cart-cleaning equipment.Assists on course when there is a downed cart.Club cleaning when players are coming off the course.Maintains close communication with pro shop regarding cart numbers, etc. and ranger/starters regarding downed carts via radio/telephone.Assists clubhouse staff with deliveries, outside services and other tasks as assigned by supervisors, administration, and management.Assist Supervisors as requested.Recognizes that employees have certain personal responsibilities, which affect the operational efficiency of the Golf Course.Maintains proper attendance in accordance with Black Bear Casino, Hotel, & Golf Course Absent/Late Policy.Displays a responsive and professional manner in promptly responding to all requests, complaints, and problems.Recognizes that each employee is a representative of the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa and is responsible for demonstrating courtesy, respect, and sensitivity to the needs of all others, including visitors and co-workers.Represents the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa and the department in a positive and professional manner in the community.Required to maintain proper attendance including reporting to work on time in accordance with applicable policies.Maintains a clean and organized work area.Due to changes and modifications in the job from time to time, employees are required to be flexible and assume other responsibilities assigned by management as deemed necessary.Minimum Education RequiredHigh School Diploma.Minimum Experience RequiredNo Drivers License required.High School Diploma.Basic math skills.Knowledge of golf.Demonstrated ability to solve problems.Ability to demonstrate good customer service skills.Prior work with the public desirable.Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing is required.Operations are conducted seven days a week and on holidays.Subject to inside and outside environmental conditions.
