Job TypeFull-timeDescriptionTo support excavation crews in safely completing underground plumbing, sewer, and utility work while developing trade skills through hands-on experience and mentorship.OverviewMaster Excavation is seeking an Excavation Apprentice to assist with residential and commercial digging, trenching, and installation projects. In this role, you’ll work under experienced operators and plumbers to prepare job sites, operate tools, and learn the fundamentals of excavation and underground utility work.This is an excellent entry point into the trades for someone who is dependable, safety-minded, and ready to grow into a skilled excavation or equipment operator role.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with site preparation, trenching, and backfilling on excavation jobsHand dig in areas with limited machine access as neededLoad and unload tools, materials, and equipmentSpot and guide equipment operators to maintain jobsite safetyClean and maintain tools, trailers, and equipment after useFollow all safety protocols, signage requirements, and dig regulationsSupport plumbers and operators with pipe placement, measurements, and inspectionsAttend required training and jobsite safety meetingsRequirementsQualifications:High school diploma or equivalentCDL needed but willing to help with meeting this requirement within a 6 month timeframeNo experience required—training providedAbility to lift 50+ lbs., work outdoors, and handle physical labor dailyComfortable working in trenches, crawlspaces, and around heavy equipmentValid driver’s license and clean driving record preferredMust pass background check and drug screeningWhy You Should Work With UsOne Team.
