If so, we invite you to submit your resume. Overview il Buco al Mare is seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead Barista for VITA Cafe, our year-round coffee shop in the Hamptons. The ideal candidate is a self-described team player with a deep passion for the food and beverage industry. Prior barista experience is required, along with a positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn. Please note that proven experience in a coffee shop is required. This is a seasonal position with the potential to become a year-round opportunity based on performance and business needs. Responsibilities include: Make and serve coffee and tea beverages Greet our guests while being warm and welcoming Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards) Maintain a clean and sanitized workstation Comply with health and safety regulations (NYS Food Handler's a plus) Adhere to recipes and presentations for food and beverage items Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs Assist with inventory and vendor relationships Be punctual and able to observe regular and consistent attendance Contribute to a positive team environment Requirements Candidates must have at least 1 years of previous work experience as a barista. Hands-on experience with brewing equipment Flexible Schedule: AM, Afternoons, Weekends and Holidays Knowledge of sanitation regulations Ability to gauge customers’ preferences Must be able to speak, read, and understand English to communicate effectively with guests and team members and to manage orders Physical Demands Ability to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally Standing for 4 to 8 hours per shift with occasional bending and reaching Ability to work in a coffee environment with varying temperatures il Buco Family Group is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer More detail about il Buco al Mare part of Il Buco Family Group, please visit
