Our work involves critical lifts, engineered rigging operations, and high-risk environments where execution quality directly impacts safety and profitability.OverviewThe Project Engineer II is responsible for supporting planning and execution of crane, rigging, and steel erection projects with increasing independence and accountability. This role is expected to contribute to technical planning, coordinate across teams, and support field execution to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with company standards.Primary Focus AreasProject Planning | Lift Planning Support | Field Coordination | Technical Execution | Safety IntegrationKey ResponsibilitiesDevelop and support lift plans, work plans, and execution strategiesReview drawings and specifications for constructability, sequencing, and riskCoordinate with Operations to align manpower, equipment, and project sequencingSupport field execution through active jobsite engagement and issue resolutionIdentify and escalate risks, conflicts, and execution challengesMaintain project documentation, tracking, and reportingSupport safety planning, job hazard analysis, and compliance effortsPerformance ExpectationsIndependently supports projects of moderate complexityEnsures alignment between engineering plans and field executionProactively identifies and resolves issues before escalationContributes to predictable, safe, and efficient project outcomesRequirementsBachelor’s degree in engineering (civil, mechanical, or related field) or equivalent combination of education and relevant experienceEngineer in Training (EIT) certification or progress toward licensure preferred3–7 years of relevant construction or engineering experienceStrong ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and technical requirementsExperience coordinating with field operations and project teamsProficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with lift planning or engineering tools preferredAbility to travel to jobsites as neededAbility to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checkWorking ConditionsCombination of office and active construction jobsite environmentsRegular field exposure including uneven terrain and elevated work areasEqual Employment OpportunitySuperior Rigging and Erecting is an equal opportunity employer.
