Description This contractor owns the executive-facing "How's it going?" narrative for customers transitioning onto a new telecom BSS platform-turning complex, cross-team inputs into concise status, risks, impacts, and decision-ready asks.The role partners with program, engineering, operations, and data/BI teams to define and govern KPIs, ensure metric traceability (sources/lineage), and deliver executive-ready dashboards and briefing materials for VP/SVP audiences, including speaker notes and anticipated Q&A.Produce a consistent executive reporting cadence (weekly status, SteerCo/MBR/QBR packs, pre-reads) with a clear "what's true / what's changing / what we need" storyline.Create decision-support materials: frame options, tradeoffs, recommendations, and consequences of delay.Connect customer experience, operational health, and delivery risk into a single coherent migration health narrative.Enable executive presenters by preparing briefing packs, speaker notes, key messages, "if-asked" backup detail, and anticipated Q&A.Partner with BI developers to shape executive dashboards (Power BI/Tableau), ensuring clarity, usability, and story-driven designDefine and govern KPIs (including R/Y/G thresholds) and maintain a metric glossary to prevent multiple versions of the truth.Drive strong dashboard interpretation and impact callouts, e.g:Off track: what it means for readiness/customer experienceDelayed: downstream impact to cutover dates, volumes, and operational loadAt risk: leading indicators and mitigation pathDocument and maintain data sources, definitions, refresh cadence, transformations, and lineage; clearly communicate what's in/out of scope for reported metrics.Validate data quality via anomaly detection, reconciliation checks, and transparent documentation of assumptions/limitations.Run cross-team intake and validation cycles: gather inputs from contributing teams, reconcile conflicts, and iterate quickly as conditions change.Navigate stakeholder feedback with strong judgment and political EQ-incorporate feedback when appropriate and clearly explain when/why inputs will not be actioned (scope, data validity, timing, decision rights).Convert conflicting opinions into a prioritized set of issues/risks with owners, dates, next actions-avoiding unproductive churn.The role creates documents & dashboards that "stand alone without additional explanation." The role isn't just reporting metrics - it's translating them into crisp, decision-ready narratives with clear context, prioritization and "what you need to decide" for leadership consumption.Required QualificationsDemonstrated experience producing executive-ready narratives, dashboards/readouts, and decision memos for senior leadership audiences.Experience operating within large, matrixed programs and collaborating across product, engineering, operations, customer care, finance, and data teams without direct authority.Telecom BSS fluency across domains such as billing, ordering, provisioning, product catalog, customer care, and rating/charging (depth can vary; must be conversationally fluent).Migration program experience (e.g., cutover readiness, cohort/wave execution, defect triage, risk/issue logs, runbooks).Strong operational metrics instincts understands leading/lagging indicators (e.g., order fallout, provisioning success, billing accuracy, call drivers, backlog aging).Excellent writing skills: 1-pagers, weekly status narratives, and pre-reads that stand alone without additional explanation.High resilience and professionalism: calm under pressure, reliable delivery under tight timelines, and strong quality judgment.Executive storytelling and speaker enablementKPI definition, metric governance, and data lineage documentationStakeholder management and political EQ in ambiguous environmentsCross-team collaboration and "translation" across exec/engineering/opsBias-to-clarity under stress; ability to deliver with imperfect inputs while protecting accuracy where it mattersDashboard interpretation & KPI strategy (drivers, anomalies, and deltas): can diagnose drivers, spot anomalies, identify when existing metrics don't answer the question then propose/source the right KPIs to complete the story.A trusted partner who can maintain composure, manage last-minute changes and uphold quality without slowing the operating rhythm.Preferred QualificationsPower BI and/or Tableau hands-on build experienceModern data stack experience (Databricks, SQL, notebooks, Delta concepts; jobs/workflows).Experience with Databricks Genie or similar governed natural-language analytics experiences.Ability to build visualizations is a plus.Practical GenAI usage for reporting workflows (summarization, issue clustering, narrative drafting) with human verification.Familiarity with AI Agent design and basic prompt/evaluation techniques (grounding, traceability, quality checks).Benefits:Healthcare Insurance: Synectics offers eligible employees and their dependents healthcare coverage through BlueCross BlueShield of Illinois. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
