Sample Maker

Job Title: Sample Maker Location: New Providence, NJ (onsite 5 days per week) Overview: Are you a crafter at heart? Do you enjoy working with your hands and building products/projects? If so, this is the role for you! We are seeking a crafter to join our Sample Room team where you’ll be responsible for printing, gluing, painting, and putting together samples of our products that will be sent to our retail customers. What You'll Do: Intake sample requests (via computer) from our Merchandising and Design teams Assemble mockups using packaging and components provided Measure and cut packaging materials to assemble as needed for assigned projects Mounting of showroom wall graphics, trend boards, and signage Move product and reset showroom Mount and prepare boards for trade shows, customer presentations and/or PR events Craft product mockups for photography and presentation purposes Ensure accuracy of all work to ensure highest quality product is sent to our customers Ensure project deadlines are met What You Bring: Must have a personal interest in crafting and/or design/printing Must have the ability to work onsite in our New Providence, NJ office daily from 8:30am-5:30pm Expert crafting skills for creating projects and demo samples is required Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel Experience with X-Acto knives a must Must be able to grasp/hold cutting equipment, paintbrushes, etc. for extended periods of time Must be able to stand for extended periods of time Must have excellent multitasking and organizational skills Must be detail-oriented Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator is a plus Knowledge of printing machines is beneficial Spray paint skills for prototypes and 3D prints is a plus Crochet skills are a plus Ability to work occasional overtime as needed
