You will be responsible for assisting the Warehouse Manager in leading the Production Team. The company is experiencing explosive growth, which means things move fast!Essential DutiesSupervise and support a team of assembly workers with and without disabilities.Establish daily٫ weekly and monthly objectives and communicate them to employeesManage the workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedulesGuide and coach employees٫ monitoring their productivity for a multiunit production lineOversee safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenancePerform verification of production output according to specificationsPrepare reports on performance and progress and present them to Warehouse ManagerDetect issues in efficiency and suggest improvementsConsult new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow proceduresEnsure strict adherence to safety guidelines and company standardsAssist in production line duties as neededIdentify and act on continuous improvement opportunitiesScheduling employees by job functionQualifications & skills High School diploma/GED required2+ years' work experience as a Production Supervisor or similar roleProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteHands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to be resourceful and proactive when issues ariseMultitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasksSharp production focus with a drive for accurate resultsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExceptional negotiation and conflict resolution attributesAbility to work with individuals with Special NeedsProfound experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and toolsStrong organizational and leadership skills٫ together with a results-driven approachSelf-motivated and an efficient problem solver
