Position: Child Development Health & Safety Assistant Job Type: Part-Time Pay Range: $22.50/hour Work Location: Los Angeles (Magnolia Place) Your Superpowers Include:Implementing the Creative Curriculum within a School Readiness Program for children ages 0-5Supporting children's development across all five domains: physical, social-emotional, approaches to learning, language & cognition, and general knowledgePartnering with teachers and parents to promote developmentally appropriate learning and school readiness activities at home and in the classroomHelping facilitate parent conferences, school readiness events, trainings, and workshopsCollaborating as a key member of a cohesive Early Childhood Education teamSupporting classroom operations including attendance tracking, meal counts, and DRDP anecdotal documentationMaintaining confidentiality and exercising sound professional judgment in all agency mattersCommunicating effectively and professionally with staff, families, and visitorsUpholding agency policies, values, and mission while supporting additional duties as assigned Your Toolkit Should Include:12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) unitsA valid Child Development Permit1-2 years of experience working with young childrenComfort supporting classroom activities and implementing teacher-directed instructionAbility to work effectively in a multicultural environmentBilingual fluency in English and SpanishGeneral education college units preferred Perks That Pack a Punch:Medical, Dental, Vision, 401KVacation & Wellness DaysElevate University for career growthReferral rewards that actually rewardDEI Non-Profit of the Year - and we live it every day.
