Electrical Project Manager

Job Description HM Staffing is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee commercial and/or industrial electrical projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role is responsible for planning, budgeting, scheduling, coordinating crews and subcontractors, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.Key ResponsibilitiesManage electrical projects from kickoff to completionReview plans, specifications, and contractsDevelop and maintain project schedules and budgetsCoordinate with clients, general contractors, inspectors, and vendorsOversee field supervision, electricians, and subcontractorsTrack material procurement, deliveries, and change ordersEnsure compliance with NEC, local codes, and safety regulationsConduct jobsite meetings and progress reportsHandle project documentation, billing, and closeout packagesResolve issues and minimize project delays or cost overrunsQualifications3–7+ years of experience in electrical construction project managementStrong knowledge of electrical systems (commercial/industrial preferred)Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and specsExperience with project scheduling and budgetingStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsProficient in Microsoft Office and project management softwareValid driver's licensePreferredJourneyman or Master Electrician licenseExperience with Design-Build projectsOSHA 30 certificationExperience with estimating or preconstruction
