Kinsa is recruiting for a: Director of Foodservice Sales / Frozen CPGLocation: Tri-State NY, CT, NJ (Remote living in Tri-state area)Our client is a fast-growing food manufacturer specializing in premium frozen products, and is seeking a Director of Foodservice Sales to lead regional market expansion across the Tri-State area, driving distribution growth, building strategic partnerships, and leveraging deep industry relationships to establish a strong presence within complex foodservice and specialty distribution networksMUST HAVE recent experience in Italian Foodservice and Specialty DistributorsCompensation/Benefits: $150,000 – $170,000 Base salary (Negotiable higher for right candidate)Generous Bonus TargetPTO and Holiday payKey Responsibilities and Goals:Drive regional sales strategy and execution to expand distribution across Italian American culinary foodservice channels in the Tri-State market.Secure and manage new product listings with broadline distributors and specialty foodservice distributors.Build and leverage high-level relationships within Italian-specialty and regional distribution networks.Lead negotiations with distributor partners to maximize product placement and sales performance.Oversee successful product launches and ensure strong engagement with distributor sales teams.Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and pricing to inform strategic decisions and growth initiatives.Represent the company in customer meetings, tastings, and high-level business development opportunities.Competencies Needed for Success: 10+ years of progressive foodservice sales experience, with strong exposure to regional or national distribution channels. Focus on Italian American culinary restaurants and foodservice clients and distributors.Established network within Italian-specialty and/or broadline foodservice distribution preferred.
