This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping patients navigate their healthcare journey while ensuring appointments are scheduled accurately and efficiently. What You'll DoSchedule radiology diagnostic imaging appointments for patients and providers Coordinate testing such as mammograms, DEXA scans, X-rays, ultrasounds, CT scans, MRIs, and nuclear medicine exams Verify health insurance coverage and eligibility for imaging services Provide exceptional customer service to patients, providers, and internal departments Manage high-volume phone calls and scheduling requests Ensure accurate documentation and follow scheduling protocols within internal systems Required Qualifications(Resume must show this experience) 2+ years of DIRECT radiology diagnostic testing scheduling experience (Examples: mammogram, DEXA, X-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine) Health insurance verification knowledge Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare scheduling environment Preferred QualificationsExperience with Epic EMR Position DetailsLocation: Costa Mesa, CA (100% onsite) Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:05 PM Contract: 6 months with possible temp-to-hire based on performance and business need Pay Range: $22/hour (entry level experience) up to $25/hour (for candidates with several years of experience) If you have direct radiology scheduling experience and insurance verification knowledge, this is a great opportunity to join a collaborative healthcare team and potentially transition into a long-term role.
