Door-to-Door Sales Representative

Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and motivated Sales Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing excellent customer service, demonstrating product features, and driving sales through effective upselling and merchandising. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency with POS systems, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. Bilingual abilities are a plus to better serve diverse customer needs. The Sales Associate will play a key role in creating a welcoming shopping experience and ensuring store standards are maintained. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs Operate POS systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits Upsell products and suggest complementary items to increase sales Maintain proper merchandising and stock shelves according to store standards Assist with stocking, organizing, and cleaning the sales floor Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly Perform retail math calculations to ensure accurate pricing and transactions Support supervising staff as needed, including training new team members on store procedures Ensure adherence to phone etiquette when communicating with customers over the phone Skills Experience with POS systems, cashiering, and retail sales operations Strong communication skills, including clear verbal interaction and active listening Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for transactions and inventory management Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and product presentation techniques Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to handle diverse customer interactions professionally Bilingual skills are preferred to enhance customer engagement across different language groups Experience in grocery stores or similar retail environments is advantageous Supervising experience is a plus for leadership opportunities within the team Familiarity with upselling techniques and product demos to maximize sales potential Excellent phone etiquette for handling inquiries and follow-up communication This position offers an engaging work environment where your interpersonal skills can shine while contributing to the success of our retail operation.
