Security Alarm Service Technician

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday overtime when needed Position Summary Under the supervision of the Security Service Manager the Security Alarm Service Technician’s responsibilities include troubleshooting CCTV, Card Access, Fire and Burglar systems and diagnosing and making recommendations to fix or replace depending on what is best for the customer. Tasks / Duties / Responsibilities · Trouble shoot systems · Communicate with customers their system needs and make repairs needed to restore normal operations · Write detailed notes in work order · Communicate with office any follow up needed with customers · Take turn for on call rotation · Follow safety processes and promote a culture of safety · Document parts used on job and follow processes to order material · Communicate with other technicians and provide technical support · Promote and support the company’s core values Skills / Abilities / Attributes · Low voltage electrical troubleshooting skills · Advanced knowledge of tools, how to use safely and exceptional care habits · Customer focused and relationship driven · Ability to communicate clearly and accurately both written and verbal · Resourcefulness needed when dealing with products less familiar · Motivated and able to work alone.
