POS Installation Technician

POS Service TechnicianExpert Technical Solutions has an outstanding opportunity for a POS Installation Technician with a fast- growing companyThis is a Permanent opportunity offering competitive salary, excellent benefits, and growthopportunities!Your role will be to provide reliable on-site service to keep POS and Payment systems running smoothly with minimal customer disruption.There will be regular travel within a 90-mile radius of office location; occasional overnight orweekend travel required.Duties and Responsibilities:Respond to and resolve service tickets related to POS hardware and software failuresPerform on-site diagnostics, repairs and component replacements when necessaryCommunicate clearly and professionally with customers throughout the service process.Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance and system upgradesPerform system health checks and resolve configuration issues.Work with the Support Team to identify recurring issues.Track service requests using ConnectWise ManageEnsure all work is logged with detailed notes, resolutions, products, and time.Escalate major issues effectively while keeping customers informed.Contribute to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and service playbooks.Provide insight to help reduce repeat service calls and improve service efficiency.Collaborate with Installation and Support teams to ensure long-term client satisfactionMaintain installation tools and company equipment in working orderTrack and restock service hardware and supplies as neededEnsure company vehicles are clean, organized, and maintained weeklySkills:Field service, Low-voltage, maintenance and repair, and troubleshooting skillsStrong communication and customer service abilitiesPOS and payment system experience preferredProficiency with remote supports tools (e.g., ConnectWise)Restaurant or hospitality experience
