About the Opportunity:The Solution Architect – Data Migration & Analytics role leads a strategic data modernization and report rationalization program for a major insurance client. The position is responsible for designing and implementing an enterprise-wide, scalable data platform using technologies such as Snowflake, DBT, AWS, and Power BI. This role enables advanced analytics and self-service reporting while supporting both batch and real-time data ingestion, thereby contributing critically to the client’s data transformation efforts.3. Responsibilities:Define and implement target-state data architecture aligned with business objectivesEstablish architecture principles, governance, and design standards for data layersLead adoption of Medallion Architecture within Snowflake and DBT ecosystemArchitect data ingestion from multiple source systems, ensuring scalability and reliabilityDesign hybrid data ingestion patterns including batch and real-time streamingDefine canonical and domain-driven data modeling strategiesOversee development of efficient, reusable data pipelinesDrive performance tuning and cost optimization in Snowflake and AWSLead report rationalization to consolidate and optimize legacy reportsDesign Power BI semantic data models supporting self-service BI and paginated reportingEnable business-friendly data access and analytics democratizationIntroduce AI-enabled frameworks for data audit, reconciliation, and anomaly detectionDefine enterprise-wide data quality, lineage, and governance standardsEnsure compliance with insurance domain regulatory requirementsDefine integration patterns across cloud and enterprise applicationsEnsure secure, scalable, fault-tolerant AWS cloud architectureEstablish data security, encryption, and access control mechanismsCollaborate with business and technical stakeholders and act as trusted advisorFacilitate architecture reviews, design approvals, and roadmap alignment4. Requirements:10 to 15+ years of experience in data and analyticsStrong expertise in Snowflake, DBT, and AWS (S3, Kinesis, Cloud Architecture)Proven experience with Medallion Architecture and hybrid data ingestion patternsDeep knowledge of Power BI including self-service and paginated reportingExpertise in dimensional and Data Vault data modelingStrong background in the insurance domain, especially policy, claims, billing, and customer dataFamiliarity with InsuranceNow or similar systemsExperience designing enterprise-scale data platformsExpertise in data governance, report rationalization, and performance and cost optimization5.
