As a YES Prep employee, you will achieve jaw-dropping results, create pathways to opportunity for our students, and build transformative relationships.To put it simply, you will ensure that campuses are ready for incoming YES Prep students by testing students, gathering data, and organizing important academic materials this summer.THE ROLEWhen you join the YES Prep team, some of the work and responsibilities will include:ResponsibilitiesParticipating in training for the administration and scoring of R-CBM Benchmarks;Administering R-CBM Benchmarks to new students at assigned YES Campuses;Entering data in Excel and/or other platforms, as needed;Filing important language proficiency documentation;Preparing instructional materials for the 26-27 school year;Supporting the campus academics team and campus operations staff with tasks as assigned;Additional duties as assigned.Professional ExpectationsDemonstrating behavior that is professional, ethical, and responsible;Participating in training to enhance knowledge and skills;Demonstrating knowledge, and support of YES Prep Schools mission, values, standards, policies and procedures, confidentiality standards, Employee Field Guide expectations and code of ethical behavior as stated in the Field Guide;Ensuring compliance with all state and federal laws, local board policies, administrative guidelines, and the Texas Educators' Code of Ethics;Serving as appropriate role model for YES Prep colleagues, students, staff, and parents;Conducting self in a professional manner at all times;Ability to perform a variety of tasks, often changing assignments on short notice, with little to no direction;Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with all stakeholders, including incoming YES Prep familiesTHE PERSONWe seek staff with a multitude of backgrounds, talents, interests, and ideas.
