Our network of 700+ investors has deployed nearly $1 billion through the community over the past few years since launching.We're looking for a Regional Director to join our New York City headquarters team.Regional Director, NYCThe Regional Director at 3i is responsible for ensuring that members derive maximum value from the platform. This is a highly-autonomous role based in our NYC office that includes both setting the strategy for how to engage and grow the 3i network in the New York region as well as executing that strategy to turn it into reality.Responsibilities include:Setting the regional strategyEvery region/city is unique. You'll get to know the members in your region and understand how the 3i network can best help them achieve their investment, personal, philanthropic, business and career goalsYou'll be the voice of your members to drive 3i forward in your regionYou'll set the strategy for member engagement and growth in the New York region, working closely with your colleagues to ensure you're equipped to deliver the power of the organization locallyMember engagementManage the onboarding process for new members to ensure that they're thoughtfully integrated into the 3i community and can immediately leverage the power of the organizationConduct quarterly check-ins with members to track their progress and ensure they are succeeding as members of 3iConnect members with products that enable them to achieve their goals, such as investing groups, in-person and virtual events, masterminds, curated introductions, deal diligence calls, and moreBe the conduit between your members and the 3i investment team, to ensure your members are always aware of deals that match their investment interestsEnsure members have a positive experience such that they renew their membershipsMember growthDrive the growth strategy for how you will invest in the growth of the 3i network within your regionWe are a referral-only network so you'll need to be comfortable thoughtfully requesting, qualifying and engaging with referrals from your membersRun a sales process to close your prospects in a high-touch wayLocal community-buildingYou'll build relationships with some of the most interesting and prominent people who live in your regionSet an event and engagement strategy for your regionPlan and execute events in your region that build community cohesion and engage members. You'll do this in partnership with our Events team, who handle the actual event logistics. You'll be responsible for identifying the event theme, curating the attendee list, and hosting the eventsYou should enjoy and be comfortable facilitating small curated meals with current and prospective members as well as hosting larger eventsAbout youBachelor's degree or equivalent experienceMinimum of 5 years of experience in account management or sales, preferably in the financial or investment industryStrong communication and interpersonal skillsHigh emotional intelligenceAbility to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyWillingness to travel as needed for in-person meetings and eventsPassion for community, building relationships, and helping people succeedWhat we offerCompetitive CompensationComprehensive health, dental, vision, and 401(k)Collaborative office environment at 41 Madison-a hub for leading founders and investorsThe opportunity to build the product foundation for one of the most trusted private investor communities in the world
