This role offers the chance to step into a key position with strong visibility, a collaborative team, and long-term stability.Job Description:Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to support both payroll and HR functions. This role is heavily focused on payroll processing during payroll cycles, with broader HR responsibilities during off weeks. The ideal candidate understands payroll end-to-end, including compliance, deductions, and system workflows.Key Responsibilities:Process and audit biweekly payrollReview timecards for accuracy, including hours worked, overtime, PTO, bonuses, and deductionsEnsure payroll is processed correctly through the HRIS systemHandle payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepanciesSupport 401(k) administration, including contributions and reportingAssist with compliance reporting (including Form 5500 support)Coordinate onboarding tasks such as offer letters and new hire documentationMaintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in the HRIS systemAssist with benefits administration, including enrollments and changesGenerate reports and support HR initiatives as neededQualifications:Strong payroll experience requiredExperience with 401(k) administration and complianceAt least 1+ year of HR experienceFamiliarity with payroll systems (Paylocity a plus)Knowledge of payroll taxes, deductions, and benefits integrationBilingual Spanish is a plus, but not requiredPerks:Opportunity to grow within HR beyond payrollHands-on mentorship from senior leadershipStable and growing companyTuition reimbursementCompany-paid life insuranceAddison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
