Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus availableOpportunity:Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / RadiologyJob Details:• Work 5x8 day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM• 2 years minimum experience required with 1 year hospital-based experience preferred• Must have completed at least 1 previous travel assignment• Required certifications: ARRT N OR NMTCB(CNMT) and BLS• Equipment experience required: GE, Hitachi, Phillips, Siemens, Toshiba• Perform HIDA scans, bone scans, lung scans, and thyroid studies• Start and maintain peripheral IVs• Follow isolation precautions and proper PPE protocols• Handle storing, handling, and disposal of radioactive materials safely• Must have basic knowledge of nuclear medicine theory and radiation safety practices• Knowledge of specialized and complex molecular imaging procedures required• Ability to work under stressful and emergent situations• Effective communication skills required• Chart using Cerner system• DC license required in hand at time of submission• Two supervisory references required supporting 2 years experience in previous 3 years• No RTO permitted during first two weeks of assignmentFacility:This is a 402-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital that provides comprehensive medical services with advanced nuclear medicine capabilities.
