Job TypeFull-timeDescriptionMechanical Dynamics and Analysis LLC, a world-class supplier of power generation services, parts, and repairs, has an immediate opening for a qualified individual who has a desire to join a growing organization and an appetite for diverse and technically challenging work.MD&A’s Repairs Division is seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to manage execution, scheduling, reporting, and cross-functional coordination within the Generator (Gen) Division, ensuring in-shop and on-site work is resourced correctly and delivered to committed timelines.Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to, the following:Assist with all training programs and keep all records currentAssist in pre-job meetings that will require travel to siteCreate in-shop / on-site job schedulesReview/correct and issue all job reports to customersAssign in-shop and on-site crews to perform each taskPerform annual performance reviews for WindersSchedule/support any type of customer job requirements (i.e., drug testing and on-site training)Assist Generator Specialists (GS’s) with all pre-job requirementsManage in-shop and on-site project schedulesCoordinate activities throughout the Gen DivisionManage / coordinate Gen Division needs with other divisions within our STL facilityManage emails, letters, packages, phone calls, and other forms of correspondenceSupport customer presentations and organized customer activitiesCreate and update databases and records, personnel, and other dataManage and support all Generator procedures, as well as the creation of new ones as neededSupport EWA’s in-shop and on-site to ensure we meet committed timeframesAssist colleagues whenever there is an opportunity to do soSupport / assist with soliciting new employees to help grow the businessRequirementsMeet all required background checks, pre-employment drug screening, and any other applicable pre-employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s).Minimum of Associate’s degree in a relatable field; Bachelor’s degree greatly preferred.Minimum of 5+ years of generator-related experience in similar industries (e.g., generator repair, rotating equipment repair, electrical rotating machinery, power generation services).Minimum of 5+ years of supervisory experience.Proficient with industry software and computer skills, including Microsoft Suite and related operational reporting tools (ERP/CMMS exposure a plus).Strong industry business and financial skills.Strong oral and written communication skills.Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.Available to work operational hours of the position, to include but not limited to days, nights, weekends, and holidays; willing to work weekends if needed and flexible to travel when required.BenefitsHealth coverage: Medical, Dental, Vision (with employer contribution)Savings options: HSA/FSA programs availableProtection: Company-paid life insurance + disability coverageTime off: Flexible paid time off + paid holidaysRetirement: 401(k) program with company match opportunitySupport: Employee Assistance Program (EAP) + ID theft protectionWellness & safety perks: On-site ART (Active Release Techniques) sessions; annual PPE reimbursement for prescription safety glasses and steel-toed bootsAdvancement: Growth paths and internal advancement opportunities for eligible employees, based on performance and business needRecognition: Seasonal company sponsored events for employees to recognize their contributions to the success of MD&AIndustry stability: Essential power generation work with long-term demand
