Network Security Engineer

This organisation is known for its deep expertise in network architecture and cybersecurity, delivering robust and reliable solutions to a diverse client base.The Role Provide full lifecycle support and administration for network security appliances, including firewalls, VPN concentrators, and IPS/IDS systems. Implement and enforce network security and cybersecurity policies through firewall configurations, VPN creation, and network access administration. Assist in the design and implementation of IT projects with a focus on network security for both on-premise and Azure cloud environments. Collaborate with the Cybersecurity team on audits, compliance, and incident response activities. Act as a technical lead, developing solutions for new business and application expansions. Develop conceptual, logical, and physical network security architectures, documentation, and risk assessments.What You'll Need 8+ years of professional experience in network security or a related field. Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP networks (Layer 2-7), including IP addressing, subnets, VLANs, and security. Extensive experience with Palo Alto next-gen firewalls, IPS devices, and firewall configuration. Proven experience with VPN and remote access configuration and support. Advanced network troubleshooting skills, including packet trace, Sniffer analysis, and router/switch security configuration.
