Civil CAD Designer/Drafter

Are you a detail-oriented Civil CAD Designer / Drafter looking to contribute to impactful infrastructure projects in the power, transportation, water resources, and geotechnical engineering sectors? Cornforth Consultants – Landslide Technology (CCI-LT) is seeking a Civil CAD Designer/Drafter proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D to join our collaborative team of engineers and geologists in our Beaverton, Oregon office. About the RoleAs a CAD Designer/Drafter, you’ll play a critical role in translating engineering concepts and markups into accurate, high-quality technical drawings and Civil 3D models. Using AutoCAD Civil 3D and related tools, you’ll support the development of plan sets, surface and corridor models, cross sections, and project deliverables that meet rigorous technical and industry standards. You’ll work closely with a talented team of engineers and geologists in a highly collaborative environment, contributing to projects that support critical infrastructure across the United States. What You’ll DoDevelop and edit engineering drawings, report figures, plan sheets, surface and corridor models, cross-sections, and exhibits Support roadway design, quantity estimates, and infrastructure modeling using AutoCAD Civil 3DCollaborate with engineers to implement design updates and modificationsEnsure consistency by maintaining company drafting standardsPrepare and manage project documentation, graphics, and file librariesConvert and resize design data as project requirements evolveProduce accurate technical drawings for review and approvalPromote a safe, professional, and team-oriented work environmentSupport additional project needs as requiredWhat You BringStrong communication, organization, and time management skills Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving ability Ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing project prioritiesAbility to interpret engineering sketches and, markups, and technical direction and translate them into precise CAD deliverablesTechnical ProficienciesAutoCAD Civil 3D (required)Bentley InRoads / OpenRoads / ProjectWise (preferred)Adobe IllustratorBluebeam RevuMicrosoft Office SuiteRequired Minimum QualificationsAssociate’s degree or technical certification in CAD, drafting, engineering technology, or related fieldMinimum 3 years of CAD design/drafting experience in civil engineering or infrastructure projectsAutodesk Certified User (ACU) certification highly preferredMust be authorized to work for any employer in the United States (we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position at this time).Who We AreCornforth Consultants – Landslide Technology (CCI-LT) is a 30-person, employee-owned consulting firm providing innovative geotechnical and engineering geology solutions across the United States.
