Provide direct supervision, safety and crisis management for patient population.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides direct supervision of patients/guests waiting with patients. Maintain safety within the milieu by constantly monitoring patients/guests for potentially unsafe behaviors. Prevent and manage crisis situations. Role model appropriate behaviors, attitudes, social skills and self-care. Completes all documentation as required. Adheres to facility policies and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS: SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: Good verbal and written skills, ability to rotate shifts as necessary, ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information. Must consistently exhibit mental and emotional ability to understand and perform the essential functions of the job. Provides behavioral management using hospital approved methods.
