Job TitleIn this high-impact technical role, you will serve as the expert driving product and application innovation for Roehm's Medical segment, helping customers bring next-generation medical technologies to life.You will shape product strategy, accelerate new applications, and empower commercial teams with the technical insight needed to win in a highly competitive market. Your work will influence outcomes across the entire value chain—from design to qualification to successful market adoption.What You Will DoProvide expert guidance on material qualification, product recommendations, part and tool design, structural analysis, and process optimization for new medical applications.Partner closely with Strategic Account Managers to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities while supporting account plans and broader market development initiatives.Lead technical marketing activities, including creating presentations, product literature, competitive analyses, and managing the technical library.Train and coach Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Distribution teams on product performance, value propositions, and application best practices.Deliver direct customer-facing technical support, such as processing troubleshooting, material selection, and quality complaint resolution.Support new market penetration by gathering Voice of Customer (VOC) insights, contributing to new product development, and providing deep technical expertise across global product portfolios.Lead customer workshops and technical training sessions to elevate industry understanding of Roehm's products and capabilities.Contribute to global technical exchanges, material approvals, industry association engagement, and maintenance of key quality accreditations such as ISO 90001, A2LA, and IATF 16949.Salary range $95,900 - $143,900 per year. The posted salary range reflects the national average for this role. Final compensation may vary based on location, experience, and qualifications. This role is eligible for an annual performance bonus in addition to base salary.Benefits Summary: Full Time positions are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k) with company match, discretionary company contribution, paid time off and holidays, and wellness programs.What We Are SeekingEducation: Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline.Experience:Minimum 5 years in the plastics industry, with strong injection molding expertise; extrusion, automotive, or lighting experience is a plus.Strong background in polymer science and processing technologies such as injection molding, extrusion, and thermoforming.Ability to advise on molding conditions, troubleshooting, and mold/part design; proficiency with CAE modeling software required.Technical Skills:Familiarity with engineering polymers, PMMA, or transparent materials preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, SAP; Moldflow experience a plus.Professional Skills:Strong communication, presentation, and technical writing abilities.Ability to travel up to 50%, including domestic and international trips.What We OfferCompetitive compensation and a benefits package that you'd expect from a global company: competitively priced medical, dental and vision; 401k with company match; separate company funded retirement account equal to 6% of your pay; life and disability insurance; a strong paid time off plan; and a range of elective insurances at group rates to cover some of life's curve-balls.... and much more.
