ML Engineer, II - Simulation Enablement
For our client, we are seeking a ML Engineer II - Simulation Enablement to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space. This role will support revenue growth through customer focus, relationship development, and disciplined commercial execution. You will collaborate with sales, customer, product, and operational partners to identify opportunities, solve problems, and improve outcomes. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen market execution, customer relationships, and measurable business results within a manufacturing environment.Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship availableCompensation: $153,200 – $183,800 annuallyResponsibilities Act as the primary contact between Dataloop + Simulation and Autonomy teams, driving adoption of the company Sim Implement end-to-end data flow from data operations to persistent storage at scale Onboard Autonomy models for efficient replay and recompute workflows Ensure usability of visualization tools and advocate for UI/UX improvements Become a domain expert on specific models such as Camera and Lidar to support integration Debug infrastructure from data ingestion to metric reporting and resolve issues effectively Document workflows and onboard new users to support wider adoption of toolsQualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related field plus 4+ years of experience, or Master's degree plus 2+ years of experience Strong Python skills with experience building or operating data pipelines at scale Experience with simulation, replay, or model validation Familiarity with autonomy or robotics ML models including perception, tracking, prediction, or planning Comfort with cloud storage and compute environments Strong cross-team communication skills, translating between platform teams and embedded autonomy teams A hands-on problem solver, with debugging skills across the data pipeline and model metricsBenefits Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage fully paid by the company for full-time employees 401K plan with a 6% employer match to help secure your financial future Flexible schedule with generous paid vacation immediately available after starting Company-wide holiday closures to promote work-life balance and rest AD+D and Life Insurance for additional securityOur client is an equal opportunity employer.
